super duty a/c problem please help

i have recharged my truck, and still dont have cold air flowing. my compressor makes a clicking sounds every 5 seconds and everywhere i read says low freon but guage says enough. or i mean the guage reads good then drops low til clicks over and over again please help have to be in palms springs in 2 days ........

What are your pressures while it is turning on and off? What year truck do you have?

Also, there is a forum for AC/heating problems here. You may want to post there too.

After my truck was blowing cold air intermittently I found the wire harness to be bad. The one where 2 wires are sticking up out of compressor. my .02
