Its really up to you. I have 160K on mine and they are still good. Piece of mine is why most do it, better now then on a trip. I'll do mine with my injector upgrade if I don't have problems first.
It all comes down to what you may feel comfortable with. I would rather change them before they take a dump but that’s just me. I just changed mine out at 130k but the truck is almost 11 years old. I now keep the spares on the truck in the tool box in case I need them later. I have a habit of changing things out before I have issues and while others may argue that it may be a waste of money to replace things that are not broken, I just feel better knowing that they have been replaced which limits the likelihood of me breaking down someplace.
Ford recommends every 100k, but It's EASIER & CHEAPER to do in your driveway than on the shoulder of interstate 75 on a sat evening when the dealerships are all closed for the weekend.
TRUST ME!!!!
Call your local international dealer, they are much cheaper than Ford.
I didn't know Ford recemmends every 100K. Where did you see this? It makes prefect since because we change are belt and other parts, and know oil no truck.

Hmmmm... good to know. I have replaced the o-rings in the ends at the HPOP, but the lines themselves have 196,000+ on them.... I only drive the truck once a week or so, so I'll wait for a few weeks more yet, but I'll get to it before I hit the 200k mark.
replace them just before one bursts 30 miles from Ely, NV and you find yourself, truck and trailer behind a 56 Studebaker tow truck. Or 50 miles west of Tucson on the interstate,Thanks JCrammell, for coming to my rescue. Bottom line, the hoses work in an extremely harsh environment. Pressures up to 3000+ PSI, hot oil inside, hot air outside, and they are now over 10 yrs old.
replace them now at your leisure, or spin the chamber and pull the trigger!

I can't remember where I read it...I seen it somewhere.
I just replaced mine at RRE, 176,000 and 12 years old they looked like crap. Bottom line is piece of mind knowing they wont blow on me out in the middle of now where.
I replaced mine a while back,212,xxx on the clock. They weren't leaking but I figured I had much rather do that job in my garage rather than roadside BFE in the dark, and having to pay double for the lines than what I paid from Riffraff diesel..and not to mention the oil that you would lose if they blew out while driving...just my.02 worth...Phil
