3 speed conversion
Does anyone know of a good conversion kit for a 3 speed on the floor? my truck has a 352 V8 and I bought it with it converted to a floor shift, but the previous owner did a really shoddy homemade job. The gears are pretty much in a backwards shifting order on the stick, it has a lot of play, and often misses 3rd gear, or gets stuck between gears. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and found a decent conversion kit that's tighter and with shorter shifting distance? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

TL, Welcome to FTE and the Slicks forum. Don't know how much hanging around you have done, but want to offer a question.
Have you thought about the power disc brake & steering upgrade? You would be swapping a steering column with that upgrade. Might shoot a couple bids with that shot.

You gotta flip the arms on the transmission, on a 3 on the tree they point down I think and on a floor shift they gotta be pointing up. might have that backwards, but flip the arms and the shift pattern will be normal.
