was putting it off for a few weeks and dealing with half tanks of fuel... was way easier than expected. took about an hour start to finish by myself.
lifted the drivers side of the bed, added fuel line to the tubes to the same length of the floats (about 2" from the end of the metal portion) cut at 45's and reinstalled. piece of cake and my once "empty" front tank fired the truck right up. threw in a bottle of lucas fuel additive to hopefully clean the injectors some.
thanks for all the info in the forums and i can assure the next guy that does it that it is a very easy and quick fix... dont put it off.
