Engine Problem
yesterday my fan clutch seperated from the water pump while i was going down the freeway and my truck overheated all the way up to 275 and it normally runs at 180 but know i can't hold an idle. at red lights i have to hold my foot on the brake and gas to keep it running and it stalls when shifting into reverse and overdrive. can anybody help me? its an 88 f-150 with a 302

Engine Problem
I replaced the fan clutch under warranty and this morning i figured why my truck wouldn't hold an idle. i pulled out the egr valve and cleaned it with an air compressor and carberator cleaner, and now it has a consistent idle and no more stalling problems
