Replacement Catalytic Converter
Well I just picked up a 2006 f250 5.4rwd 163k miles and the mechanic recommended the Cats be replaced, Code p0420.
Has anyone used the Walker or Eastern Catalytic aftermarket replacements?
The dealer part is way too expensive an investment.
Has anyone tried the Scotty Kilmer lacquer thinner trick?

I personally wouldnt put lacquer thinner in my gas tank. I'd pull the o2 sensors and see what they look like. I had one before that gave me a catalytic converter code and i changed the o2 sensors and it never came back
