Help With Identifying Under-Hood Items

I was hoping one of you kind gents might help me with identifying several items under the hood of the '92 F150 XLT 4x4 I recently purchased.

These unplugged connectors are both male. The black one comes out of the power distribution box, while the grey ones runs down under the truck:

And this, which is located over at the driver's side fender. The hose that's on there comes from off of the exhaust manifold. I'm wondering what else should be connected there?

Dunno bout tbe electrical connectors, but I can look at my 96 later if nobody comes up with anything. Its probably different though.

That second picture looks like part of the smog pump system.

Nothing else connects there,, that is a muffler for the air (smog) pump

I was hoping as much. We have only visible emissions inspection on pre-OBDII here, so I just wanted to make sure it wasn't something I had to worry about.

Oh, one I know! The electrical connections are where you plug in a relay block to power the aux and backup light functions of the 7-way trailer plug that you can install. You should have two similar plugs back behind the spare tire. I discovered that my truck was prewired for a 7-way plug when I went to go add one - previous owner had spliced in a 4-flat plug already.

You can search for Ford part #14A346 - Auxiliary Battery Wiring Harness to find one. I ended up skipping it - my trailer needed the brake controller, but not backup lights or aux power.

Thanks, niner!

I had just been checking the 7-pin outlet earlier, and had noted that I had no auxiliary power available there, though the standard functions all work. That explains it. My trailer requires a 4-flat, and I figure I'll just get an adapter for $10 or so.
