My AC is working great but shifts to the defrost setting especially while pulling a load up a hill. I've read on here that this is likely due to a vacuum leak. I found a small white hose near the firewall right up against the passenger side, that appears to have a rotten spot in it I think just from being old. One end of the white hose disappears into a black bundle of other hoses.
Am I on the right track? If so how much digging into this bundle of other hoses is needed to replace the entire white vacuum line?
