Tugger kit

Do you have a tigger kit? Are you happy with it and how well did it improve your transmissions shifts? Is it night and day? For those who don't know I blew my Trans and am having it rebuilt as this thread goes on. I should have it back no later than Saturday. I wet with the tugger kit and an upgraded torque converter. I know a lot of guys have run the kit and if you guys are running it it must be good. Are there any dislikes about it?

We installed one in mine several years ago and I think it has worked well.There are some others out there as well and there will be more folks with their story.Then you can choose.Good luck w/ the tranny.

The tugger kit is a must in my opinion. I am happy with mine.

I have the Tugger overhaul kit in my F250 and it outperforms the ATS transmission in my F450 by a fair margin. I have about 160k miles on my trans since the rebuild and the Tugger Kit has performed as advertised. If you tow heavy and use an exhaust brake, then you may elect to get the PTO clutch upgrade as well so you can use the exhaust brake in 3rd gear.

I would recommend the Tugger overhaul kit to anyone who is rebuilding their trans.
