Failure prevention checks
Reading of checking front hubs/bearings on X with diesel, is the V10 gas X hubs and bearings the same and are the bearings sealed and require complete hub replacement ?

The axle bearings are identical between the gas and diesel.
Main unit bearings are sealed in the 4wd. You can lube them though the ABS port, though if you want. Works well. There is a needle bearing that can require maintenance. Welcome to guzzle's 4x4 Needle Bearing Maintenance Web Page
2wd have serviceable bearings.

Thanks Monsta, my mechanic seems to be uninformed, my dealership uninformed, my friends uninformed, now I am enlightened, I had read somewhere here about this and didn't remember details.
