Ok, so far i have 145 miles on the front tank. It hadn't ruin dry yet but it's about to. That's less than ten miles a gallon. Even with 285 tires that seems way low. About half of that was pulling a small trailer with a four Wheeler. That shouldn't be that much of a load at all.there had got to be something else going on. Agree/disagree????

The gas gauges in these trucks are notorious for being inaccurate. You need to go by miles driven and ignore the gauge for the most part.
Fill up the front tank then make your calculations based on how many gallons it takes to fill it back up. The fuel gauges on these trucks can be very inaccurate.
BTW...the front tank on my old 1992 F350 4x4 held 17 gallons. The rear tank 19. The rear tank would register below E after 14 gallons were consumed.
Ok good to know, i topped off the front then started keeping tabs, i will go ahead and run it dry before i total it all up, also i plan to do this about the times so i can get a good average
