Are the rotors for a 2002 RWD the same as 4WD? I have a and need new front rotors, some websites show rotors that fit both, and other choices say they only fit 4x4. So I need to know if they indeed are the same?

 

I do not know if it is correct but I also figured RWD was a 2wd truck. The front rotors on a 2wd SD are different than on a 4wd SD. The rear rotors should be the same.

Just put R-300 Raybestos rotors and new Hawk pads on all 4 corners over the weekend. Much better braking than the stockers.

 

Yes, RWD is 2wd, sorry, I got the RWD term from the parts websites.

 

Probably seems like a stupid question, but every site I went to for ordering did not allow you to drill down and specify 4wd or 2wd, you have to read the specs. I soon discovered that 4 wd rotors are cheaper.

 

More 4Wd = more 4WD parts made = less cost per part.
