Supercharger
So this guy around here is selling a supercharger out of a 2002 4.6L Mustang for $600. Would this fit and would it be worth it to put it in my 2006 5.4L? Both being Modular engines it should bolt up right? Although I do have the 3 valve so that means a different head configuration right? Just curious.

I'm not 100% familiar with the 4.6L, but my thoughts are that it will not bolt up directly without some additional parts, etc. The old saying "anything is possible with enough money" definitely applies here. I'm sure you could get it to work, eventually.

My knowledge was that a 4.6 is a short 5.4. Meaning it has the same bore with a shorter stroke. Shorter crank and shorter deck.
I wouldn't think it would fit. I asked once before and a 5.4 2v lightning supercharger won't fit either. Has to do mostly with the heads.
I know it sounds like a great deal but I don't think any whooped *** 10 year old supercharger is any good even if I knew it would fit.
