99 Head Replacement?
Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a couple of days and decided to jump right in. I didn't look for a new head on the 99 that I might be picking up tomorrow. Is this a recall from Ford that can be fixed, or is it cash out of pocket? How do I go about getting it fixed if it is having a leaking oil or spark plug problem?

Make sure you get an extended warranty in any case just to cover your ***! If not and you get stuck with either problem you can be looking at anywhere from $1200-$1800 out of your pocket. These are problems that occured onb quite a few 1999 Expys. (I wont say common problem). It does seem to happen a bit, but I guess not enough to warrant any action from Ford, that I am aware of.
