Good news.
Some of you may remember me, I started working on a 1963 f250 i bought a year or two ago. I had the 292 rebuilt and put lots of time and money into my project. Put the new motor in and never could get it to run right. Got tired, frustrated and upset so I left her sitting all this time. Went out today itching to get it running and found #6 and #8 cylinders were crossed on dist. Thank God. She is running like a sewing machine and I am exited to get back to tinkering with her. Now where to start? LOL. Just wanted to share my joy with some other slick fans.

Very solid looking flareside! If your into authenicity, this photo shows the way the grill looked when it left the factory. You have the same exact grill, but this detail was lost when it was repainted.Photo also shows interior seat pattern color and pattern and period telescoping mirrors.

Got a question for ya; roughly what was the cost to rebuild your 292 ? I'm working a deal to purchase a 62 and was wondering about cost of rebuilding a y block verse engine swap?
