rough country 8" super duty lift on excursion?
I've read that the super duty lifts are more of a lift on excursions. is that true?
Also, I know rough county is cheap, but ive also read people that are happy with theirs. I will be doing ZERO off roading, just normal street driving, if that matters.
My goal though is to fit at least 40s. I also really like the look of trucks/SUVs lifted higher up front. i see it quite often here in Florida. Don't know why, but I like the look. I'd like for my excursion to sit like this (assuming its maybe 2-4 inches higher up front. I'll try and find pics)
I'm new to lifts, so whoever can help me out, it would be appreciated. Pics of different excursions would be cool too.
Thanks!

I was told by BDS "Thankfully" that you need to ask the maker of any lift company you go with how much lift you will end up with on your X with their Product. I was looking at a 4" pro comp lift and then checked with BDS. BDS informed me that most "Excursion" Lifts are a 250/350 pickup lift.
Meaning that a 8" pro comp "Excursion" I.E (F250/F350) will in reality be a 10" lift on an Excursion. This is due to the fact that Excursions sit 2" Lower Stock than the pickups do. so make sure to do your homework so you dont end up finding out "OH CRAP now i need new drivelines, brake lines ect."
As far as rough country being "Cheap" my buddy who is a chevy freak and lifts every pickup he has told me "With Suspension, you get what you pay for". Hope that helps you

I believe that's true with anything you do to your vehicle. Not necessarily that the more you spend the better, but find the best quality and product you want then find it the cheapest place.

Very true i found BDS to be very top grade quality and they wanted just under 1300 for it on BDS site and i found it for 1009 with shipping off another site
