Seat Heater Comes on automatically?

Not only is the button easy to bump and turn on the heater, but once on, it will stay on until the switch is pressed again instad of turning off after a period of time. I can't tell you how many times my wife has left the passenger heater on and I find it only after putting something on the seat and realizing its hot when I remove it. Poor engineering in my opinion.

I feel everyones pain on this. Some time ago (few years) I decided to do something about it. My "fix" was to install an LED lamp into the line to tell me when the heaters were on. It was fairly easy to do but one thing lead to another and I ended up getting an overhead pod and put them there.
They are on the left and right, the switch in the middle controls the heated mirrors which I saw no need to be on all the time. The gauges are clock and volt. The cable with multi. wires were easy to get up there and were no problem at all.
