Hey folks, to make a long story short: Had codes for FICM, and 3 Injectors and ICP too low. Switched out FICM with a Bostech rebuilt in the driveway, now it's only throwing ICP too low (P2291) It will not start, not even sputter. Any ideas? I'm thinking HPOP.
You could unplug ICP and see if it will start with default value to verify the HPO is actually low or bad ICP. Is the ICP on passengerside valve cover or under turbo on your '04?
Time for an Air Test dont look like your getting off to easy
I beleive you have standpipes and Dummey Plugs and since your going in that far just as well rering Injectors to Aliant Power has the Ones you want with the Top Injector oring for the HPO Rail to inject connect
But Do an Air Test and see if you can hear it in the Valve covers or if you hear in the oil filter housing then That Means HPOP
You hook Air compressor to the HPO system at t6he ICP Port give IPR 12volts to close it that makes the air go into HPO system with IPR Closed the HPO is singled out then listen for leaks
I did forget to mention you can Pull and Inspect IPR Screen for Damage was there any recenrt work???
