Here are mine on my 59. Should be the same. I see them in aftermarket catalogues.

I'm addicted to wire brushing rust too. But my favorite is breaking rusty bolts loose with a torch and penetrating oil. Just love the smell of the smoke. OK I'm addicted to working on old Ford trucks in general. Hope the picture helps. Oh, and flaresides rule........

I have my wire wheel stand on an old rim so I can move it around. So, on nice days I roll it outside and just sit there and clean up old rusty parts by the hour. Very gratifying stuff. My wife just walks by and shakes her head.
You got to love the smell of PB Blaster when a torch hits it!

By the way Hoss, did you find any tail lights yet since we are talking about everything else other than what the topic is?

US: 1955/60 Flareside Shield Tailamps (Same lamps as: Cab & Chassis, Flat & Stake Bed) have FORD block letters molded into the upper section of the lens (reproduced). 1961/66 lenses are plain.

I think my 9' flareside bed came from a '61-'66 truck. Now I need to upgrade to those cool F-O-R-D tail lights. Oh wait, my tailgate says Mercury. Wonder if the fridge flaresides in Canada had M-E-R-C-U-R-Y tail lights.??? Maybe I should cave into one of those Canadians who wants my 'gate and go All Ford??? Either way, love those original lights.
