Cancer is Winning

Hello FTE Friends,

Some of you may have read in the past that I have become ill with Colon Cancer. Well, for the better part of 4 months I've been doing really well. Then out of nowhere I suffered a brain hemorrhage and spent 15 days in ICU. All still was going well when, my PET scan revealed that the Cancer had metastasized to the liver, chest and many lymph nodes. I have begun Chemo therapies, but sadly th doctors believe I shoould to take care of my personal affairs.

Rather than bore you with my personal problems, I'd like to know if you know of anyone, in California or elsewhere, who may be interested in the almost restored '56 F100. The last thing I did was tow it to the muffler shop to add the exhaust system with glass packs. It has less than one driven mile. You can see a video of it here 56 F100 First Voyage - YouTube

Moderators, please accept my sincerest apologies if I have inappropriately posted here.

Hello Paul, I was just wondering how you were doing yesterday as I hadn't seen a post from you in a while. I'm truly sorry to hear things aren't going well. Let us know what you are looking for and I'll ask around. Starting with my wife. Best wishes to you and your family during an extremely difficult time.

So sorry to hear such sad news. One of my best friends came back from Iraq, working for Haliburton and Flour, and found out he had colon cancer that had spread to his liver. He had 11 tumors in his liver and they went in and took out the front lobe with 2 of the larger tumors. They wanted it to begin growing back and then they would go for the other 9 tumors in the larger back part of the liver. It didn't grow back like they thought, but he stayed on Chemo and the cancer stopped growing. He has been off of Chemo for 6 months so that they could go in a fix six surgical hernias (form the liver surgery) which he just had done. While they were in they looked around for signs of cancer and could not find any. He will be going back on Chemo soon, the pill form. Before he was wearing a backpack that automatically released the chemicals every few hours. He also has tried every 'natural' cure he has found out about. So don't give up hope yet, and if you would like to talk to my friend, Mike, let me know in a PM and I will give you his number. Good luck and I am sure all here are pulling for you and your family.

Cancer sucks!

Try to get use that beauty to get to your appointments - it won't fix things but it might be a reward for your efforts.

Best to you.

I don't think any of the FTE family would consider your personal health situation a bore. Sorry to hear about about the latest news regarding your health. My Dad has been battling skin cancer for quite some time now and we just got good news for him. I will pray for the same news for you.

I hope some of us will be able to help you find a good home for your truck. You've done a great job getting it to where it is now.

Fight the good fight and God Bless!
