Hey I was wondering what would be another good 5 speed to swap for my m5od in a 95 f150 300 I6.

If you want to stick Ford the next strongest up from the M5OD is the ZF if you want OD and if you dont care your choices are more numerous. The ZF comes in two variations but is basically the same thing. I think one is a little more revised. They both bolt up the same way however and should work nicely with your 4.9L. This trans is a little shorter I believe so it would require lengthening of your rear shaft and shortening of your front if you have 4x4. 4 speed choices are and not limited to: NP 435, T-18, and basically any other ford trans with a 90 degree bellhousing. Why are you changing tranny?

I'm not sure that I want to change it. I was just looking for a stronger one. Just more curious than anything.

If you plan on keeping your inline 6 dont bother. Your engine will never make enough HP to burdon the M5OD. Someone in an earlier post said they were running a stroked 351 behind it without any trouble. Only do the swap if you can't live with your gear ratios.
