Transmission solenoid pack, to by rebuilt or not?

Transmission solenoid pack, to by rebuilt or not?
I need to buy a transmission solenoid pack for my 2002 Expedition, they have rebuilt for $65 and new ones for $239, i need opinions on whether to buy new or rebuilt! Any thoughts?

What does the solenoid pack do? I notice sometimes my truck hesitates when I put it in R and wondered if that could be the cause because other than that it shifts fine.

The rebuilt will work just fine.

2003 Navi Solenoid Pack
I have tranny codes p0781 & p0782, shift problems from 1st to 2nd & 3rd to 4th. I want to buy a rebuilt Solenoid pack but I cant find an online source for this part. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Look in your yellow pages for transmission parts suppliers to rebuilders as they will often sell to walk in customers. you can also check eBay or C/l.
