That good feeling
"Bob" still has his sick sense of humour. I had the alligator clip attached to the bumper for the test light and it worked ffor the blikers and markers and accessories but not for the brakes. So I tore into the cab and redid the wiring to the brake box, still nothing. Well I rolled around on the ground with the trouble light tracing the wires in all the grease and grim we call undercoating, nothing. Went back to the plug and put the clip on the - post which I happened to wire into - harness via a discarded license plate light. And viola it all worked great. "Bob" is such a card, guess he wanted more company.
Hell I even splurged at the store and got the fancy Blue wire tubing, I gotta say that looks good under there, I think "Bob" liked it too. There is gonna be more of that applied, nothing like shiny new white shocks and electric blue wire tubing showing amongst that grime. Maybe I'm a ricer now, tricking out my truck. LOL.
Just sharing a good day. It ended on a bad note though couldn't find that roll of heavy guage wire i've been holding onto for ten years, just when I needed it to. Oh and even though my 2.5 year old boy was out using my tools in odd ways and Lord knows where they will turn up it is so nice to have his company, hoping he is my little craftsman.
