So i started to clean my engine up and i couldn't bring myself to put the leaky old pump and back in the valley that was going to get cleaned and painted. So i've started a DIY E fuel mod. I used all 3/8" steel tube and flare fittings and they're coming together pretty good. I also did a EBPV delete and got a new delete pedestal from RiffRaff Diesel.
With the EBPV delete pedestal i was able to run the line right over the top
i am still able to remove the turbo with out removing the lines.
With the T under the turbo i was able to avoid sharp bends in the steel lines and run only 1 line in the valley.
I used a 45 degree street elbow on the drivers side then used a 1/8" to 3/8" flare then ran all 3/8" after the T i ran the line down under the pedestal.
Passenger side i used a straight 1/8" to 3/8"
I'm missing a union there but ill get that tomorrow i was going to run 1 long piece but i decided on going with 2 pieces because its easier to get apart if something went wrong.
Took the line down along the side like the stock one.
I have not gotten around to the return side yet but i will start that soon i have to get a regulator first. I will continue to update this as i go along and give a parts list when i finish. Don't flame me to hard haha.
I'm sure it would its only 65 psi running through the lines and the hydraulic lines can support way more then that
I was just thinking about the heat. The stainless steel braiding just slides up over a regular rubber hydraulic hose before the ends are crimped on. I guess the hose it's self would stand the heat, wouldn't it?
Ill Keep an eye on it i think it will be okay i'm thinking about using these orings that go between then steel lines and the fittings so they have some wiggle to them. Shouldnt they just move with the engine? im going to use rubber tube to the frame because thats going to get alot of wiggling form the shake of the engine
I have some pics of it complete ill post them tomarrow and if you want or need more I can take them it's still on the stand I'm waiting on the exhaust before I put it in.

Parts list is pretty basic I bought 20' of steel line flared it and used brass fittings I used 3/8th inch line because parts are easier to come by and actually cheaper in some cases. I know 20' sounds like over kill but you'd be surprised how many times you change the way you route the lines for easy access. Ill post a parts list tonight but its pretty basic.
