Ok I spoke with Ford Classic Trucks. They were very helpful. According to them Ford did offer a F350 Crew Cab with a 9' bed, but they are so rare those guys haven't even seen one. I have a 9' Flareside on my 59 F250 4x4. When I get home I will compare that bed with what I have. They said most likely mine will be the 8' bed. Both were apparently available according to them, but the 8' bed is much more common with the Crew Cab configuration. If it is the 8' bed I have located a rust free bed in North Carolina recently brought back from Southern Arizona. It is costly though.

That 59 4x4 with a 9 foot bed is pretty rare too. I've never seen one on a 4x4. Is it a conversion truck like a Napco or Marmon Herrington? I also thought they only came on F-350s

1959 was the first year of a factory 4x4 from Ford
We ran all the codes and it is all original. It was supposedly special ordered by a service station. Very cool truck.
That has to be one of just a handful, you might even have the only one in existence. A keeper for sure. I also saw only one ever of a 9 foot step side bed on a dually It was a 55 or 56 and a wrecker at a dealership where it had been since it was new. Fenders were extra wide and also had some indentations inside the bed too IIRC. I've been called out on that one but knew the old guy who bought it new.
