Just bought another '71 F250, but this is a 4x4. Anyway, the pass. side window does not roll down, so I removed the regulator and saw the springs and gears all mashed-it's toast. So my question is, does anyone know what yrs (including '67-'72) regulators will fit the '71? What about Ford cars from that same era? I want to head to the bone yard Monday and I need to know what will work.
Thanks
Ok, so no one, except Buzzard responded, so that tells me not many people know this info. So for edumakschkin purposes, here's what I found out at the bone yard:
I looked at '70-'72 F series trucks and those were the only regulators that fit. I assume '67-69 would also work, but I didn't see any at the yards I went to. I also looked at '73-80s ish trucks and they are all different. Even the vans and cars were different (although I did not see any vans of the same era of my truck). So, I know what to look for now, but all the trucks I saw had the pass. side already stripped. So I'll keep looking.

If you happen to find something else that fits (besides 67-72) let us all know. I may be needing a set in the not-to-distant future!
I once gave my neighbor an electric window motor for his older Bronco. It was the same one as my Lincoln Versailles. (Basically a dressed up Granada). Wouldn't be surprised if the car manual cranks were the same back then too.
Yep, so far just the '67-'72 seem like they'll fit. You'd think Ford would try to save mfg. $ by trying to keep parts that we cant see common for as long as possible, but that's not the case with these parts as far as I can tell.
