Useless... Send it back and save your money. The best way to improve economy is a custom tune, and there are a few to choose from. Mike's 5 star tuning is the best for these trucks.

Hopefully you can return it. As the others have stated its probably going to cause more harm than good. Look into an actual handheld programmer. Custom tunes will help as they are a safe way of insuring performance gains.

Hmmmmmmmm
Eric does do a great job. I haven't gotten none of his tunes. I chose to go with Mike because of you and your constant attachment to him MCDavis... you swear hes the best so I'll see what hes got. Friday I will place an order for a custom tune 93 Octane Performance. For some poor guy that don't know any better Mike's 5 Star tuning is easier to navigate then trying to explain to someone that a diesel website known more for tuning diesel's can do any good.
I never once dogged Mike, just wasn't looking to spend the money at the time when you told me.. There was some guys that made comments on several forums stating that Mike's tunes weren't as good as the Innovative one they got... but I'm going to give it a try and eventually try Erics.

I've sailed Mike's flag too, even though I don't have any experience with his tuning. I've done so on the Ex forum (for the gas guys that ask there) because everyone RAVES about Mikes tuning capabilities, so it isn't just Chandler (MCDavis) that swears by Mikes abilities, just FYI.

The smilies Chandler used should be a dead-give-away that he's being humorous. It's all in good fun, Chris.

Don't forget getting rid of all excess weight. Like all the seats except drivers, the carpet, the spare tire. Ok I'm kidding but I did want to seriously point out that you can make or break any mileage improvements if you also change your driving habits with it. Stewart_H I was really hoping someone would bring up the old egg trick thank you!
I believe this thread was created by spam though... or someone wanting to try and market that lame G-Force chip because no one is that silly to want one of those. Its a rip off...
