a question for moderators...
Would this apply to any of the 'generational' forums ?? I.E., can i put the same type of post/thread in other forums w/o issues ??

"6. Personal Items For Sale . For Sale items are not allowed in the automotive and general discussion forums of FTE. This includes placing ads or links to ads in your signature. We have a Classifieds section that you can list your items in. Want ads are allowed in the forums so long as you post a follow-up when you find the part(s). Vehicle value discussions are permitted, however, if we find it turning into a for sale thread, the thread will be removed. The only exception to this guideline is the Chapter Forums. There is a specific thread in each Chapter Forum, for Chapter Members only, that is intended for local for sale items."
A list of the forum rules everybody agrees to when you sign up, can be found here: Ford Truck Enthusiasts - Discussion Forum Guidelines
i dont see what the big deal is with saying hey...check my for sale ad out in classified and leave it at that as its telling peeps where to go to see what one has for sale and so on...i had no effing clue about the classified as it is for a couple of years after i joined here...guessing isnt a good thing if ones time online is limited etc...Im just saying...if one cant post links also then whats with peeps posting links to ebay auctions that are going on...I see that fairly frequently...or craigslist as well...

I don't make the rules, I just apply and enforce them. The rule applies to selling your own parts. Posting links to eBay or craigslist is tolerated, but just barely.
If you have further gripes I suggest you PM an Administrator......
