Hey guys
I am currently stationed at fort Gordon in GA and will soon make the long trip back to VT. To avoid listening to call me maybe for 19 hours I would like to install an aux input on my factory radio. All the searches I have done say the PIE FRD 04 aux is my only option. I have called just about every store I can find on the net and local shops and they all say it is back ordered for at least 30 days
My question, are there other options? Does anyone have a used one they would part with or know of any secret stashes anywhere?
Another problem, although I have a 2007 truck the part number of my stereo is 5C3T-18C815AF which comes back as a 2005. I have not pulled the stereo out to see if it’s a 20 pin or 16 pin. It is not a satellite and does have an AUX button Any help would be appreciated.

Mine is an 04 PSD, and has the 6 disc cd player, no aux. Took it to a shop we know an he hardwire installed an aux for the mp3 or whatever. it hardwires and has a freq iof 88.3 and or .9 he preset it on the radio. has a power switch to turn the thing on, basically same as fm modulator but is note a wireless unit like I was usinf. If this is what you are looking for can get the info for ya. ran me $65 installed.

That sounds like it will work. Did a quick search and found a few hard wired FM inputs...ill do some more research. The sounds quality is ok?
