1972 f100 explorer color code 3M?
I am then proud new owner of a 1972 f100 explorer. I successfully decoded most of the warranty tag but the color code is bugging me. It says "3M".
I'm confused because the truck is currently painted what I would call Swiss aqua, and 3=Swiss aqua. What is that m doing there?

In some past life your rig was apparently two-tone... M is Wimbledon White. The pattern could have been regular, deluxe, or combination as illustrated below:
