Michelin XDE2+
How good of an offroad/mud/snow tire is this? I'm looking at 285/70/19.5 to go on my Rickson wheels. Yes, I do need the higher load rated tires, though not all the way to H load rated like these. Mostly looking for a bigger 19.5 than my current 265/70/19.5s, while improving my grip over my front AH11 and rear DH01 Hankooks.

That tread pattern looks real similar to the Big O Big Foot A/T tires. I had those on a previous truck and they did real well in rain and snow and were fairly quiet on the highway. They were not so great for deeper mud though as the tread pattern is not open enough.
You might want to check the Big O's if they are in your area, they will be substantially less cost than Michelin's.
