93 150 needs your help :/
Right now i'm in a competition to get $1500 towards parts and services from a local off road outfitter. I'm in third place but far behind about 120 votes. I lost my job and trying to win... to fix up my 93 f-150, which is my only means of transportation.. it runs good but needs 500-800 dollars worth of work to pass strict maine inspection and I would greatly appreciate some votes. It's on wpor.com under their contest section. The comp. is called "trick out your truck" by new england off road outfitters. Please vote for my truck "daily driver" 7-8-12 is the last day of voting...I'm stressing big time and just need your votes....thanks guys.

why not? I just need a little help threw this tough time, i'll be gone tomorrow, i'm not asking for money, and if the people are "Ford Truck Enthusiast", then I figured they wouldn't mind helping out a fellow ford owner in a rough time.

I will let this stay because, in all honesty, I somewhat agree with you.
But, I used to agree a lot more before I became a mod; since then, I've become a lot more exposed to the attitudes & values of the people who started FTE (over 15 years ago) and FTE being a place for people to swoop in, ask for something from people, and then leave without in any way giving anything back to anybody else is NOT what this place is all about.
Doing so makes you something of a leech.
But, I see what you're trying to do, I guess it won't hurt anything (or so I hope).

thanks....I'm just trying to win so i can get back to work...plus i could make fake votes with fake e-mail addresses but i want to win fair. I think they two guys that passed me are cheating because one got 60 votes in 5hrs and one got almost 100 in 7hrs
