Just installed spacer plugs, Mac intake, headers, Hypertech III module
I just installed all these mods and I happy but not overly impressed. The first mod I did was the headers and plugs. I had dual exhaust when I bought. I noticed a difference right away expecially in the lower rpm's. I did the hypertech 87 octane tune and didn't really notice any gains there. I then just installed the mac intake kit along with a throttle spacer. I had to turn down the idle screw because the idle was too high. Has anyone had this issue? Whats the stock idle set at? Anyone know what the stock TPS voltage is suppose to be? I think im good. I then reprogramed the computer for 93 octane on the hypertech programer. I know there definately is a increase in the lower RPM's. I read about it taking time for the stock computer having to learn the mods before they are fully noticed. I don't see why but if anyone has any experience please let me know. Oh by the way the headers I won on ebay are nice looking but require alot of work. I had to notch a piece of the passanger fram rail and weld a bung on the drivers side for the egr. Also the design is so bad its just about impossible to tighten them. If anyone does headers be careful about the factory cheap studs breaking. I had to drill and retap 4 holes. Over all I would charge $800 to install them for my best friend.

Are you talking about the headers that were on there about 2 weeks ago that I was asking about? If so, thanks for the heads up! I was planning on buying a set, but I will look elsewhere now.
