FRx help

I started to install my new RRDP fuel cross over. I got the old regulator housing off the fuel bowl. The instructions state be careful not to loose the spring and plunger. Well I lost whatever sits behind them...

Did I loose the poppet seat and possibly the aluminum round piece? The plunger goes in all the way to the fuel filter...

Number 5 in the picture is the plunger. It usually stays in the fuel bowl. If you lost it, it will most likely be in the valley probably around or below the hpop.

I still have the plunger and spring. I'm thinking I lost the rubber plunger seat that fits into the bowl. Not sure what the alum. round piece is in the RRDP rebuild kit in the link.

The plunger sits in the aluminum round piece. There's an o-ring that goes around the aluminum piece and it just slides into the bowl. If yours is loose enough to just fall out, you can try putting a new o-ring on there. When mine was loose I started having fuel pressure issues (pressure went way too high)

Is there a picture in my last post? I saw it there at first, but now I don't.

No pic. That's the same rebuild kit riffraff sells. I think I'm missing the rubber seat and the round alum. plunger guide. Looks like the bowls gotta come out. The rebuild kit seems expensive for what's in it...

I agree cj. Didn't expect anybody to be around, being Saturday and all...

So I found the plunger guide under the HPOP. It had a small flat rubber washer on it, but I'm not sure if it's the same the one in the picture(poppet seat). Installed it in the fuel bowl and it fits snugly...

BTW, how do you get the HPOP reservoir lid off, two of the torx screw are in the way and hit the bowl flange? Had to pull the bowl and res. as an assembly off.

Remove the 2 long bolts that go thru the reservoir from the front and separate the bowl from the reservoir.

Thanks! It's always the most obvious ones that get me...lol. The second one was hid behind the black hose.
