I have a 61 Unibody with a 1978 400 from a LTD. The man who put this together cut out the LTD crossmember and welded it into the truck. I was in the initial stages of rebuilding the 400, when the machine shop called and said the block is cracked bad in the lifter valley. Since I have to find a new engine, I am considering a 429/460. I'm kinda new to Fords, so what I'm wandering is will a 429/460 bolt in by just swapping motor mounts ? I'm used to Mopars and having to often times swap k-members.
