I had a baaad night last night...I hydrolocked and am pretty sure I bent a rod in the mountaineer out wheelin in fremont last night....all plugs out I can't even turn the motor, drained oil...half water...don't know where the coolant went, it is empty. Time to yank the engine and never drive through water even if you've made it through the same spot more than once without a snorkel....water ended up 4 inches over the middle of the hood. Any way I'm getting a shortblock for 100 bucks out of a 96 xploder with 100k on it...mine has 114k. Now I gotta pull the engine. This sucks. At least I got it home...

Dan it depends....you anywhere near shirkin rd? It comes out at paradise rd by the raymond ballfields. The last swamp/puddle @ the end??? I was having fun.... I'd had fun before the catastrophic and sudden failure of my 5.0....Driving the 150 to work now...time to play auto tech again....
