tranny problems
I have a 63 f-100 with a freshly rebuilt 292 and a fordomatic 3 speed tranny. My problem is the tranny leaks fluid after it cools off. There is a vent ( i assume it's a vent) on the back passenger side just above the pan. that is where i lose my fluid. I took it to the car wash and cleaned everything underneath the truck and drove it home, parked over a white sheet, no leaks all day. i woke up this morning to find a small puddle of tranny fluid under the truck. Can someone help me?

Sounds like converter drain back. If you start it and quickly put it in gear does it try to move or does it take a few seconds to go clunk and move?

tranny problems
the guy that i had put in the tranny cooler switched one of the tranny lines with a cooler line, so the fluid was going in the vent and out of the cooler return. thanks for the help anyway.
