dodge more powerful?

And, he's got a 300,000 mile engine in a 50,000 mile truck! If he's lucky!
Not to mention, if it's the newer Dodge, the interior looks like it's straight out of my Dad's old 73 Fury!
Taken straight from the Dodge website:
5.7-liter
HEMI® Magnum V8
Crank up to 345 horsepower and 375 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,400 rpm with this behemoth engine (now available on Ram 1500).
The Ford V-10 has 310hp and 425 ft-lbs of torque.
So the Hemi has more HP than a Ford V-10, but it doesn't have as much torque!
Tell your friend to get his facts straight first before he starts talkin' smack!

Steelheader14:
I notice you have chosen the 6 speed manual transmission (and manual hubs; me too!). Could you mosey over to the Manual vs Auto thread:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...0&pagenumber=2
and add your feedback with respect to stiff shifting and/or dragging clutch symptoms? I'd like to hear what you have to say.
