Oil catch can

Has anyone ever install one of this oil catch cans, if so did it work, did you buy it or did you make your owen. I am thinking about making one any ideas on making one, because the ones they sell are to expensive for the purpose they are used any ideas are welcome.

What purpose? Changing oil I presume. I use most anything that will catch it but my favorites are feed pans from the farm store.

Sorry guys its for the pcv or the breather cap so oil wont get to the air filter I'm still having problems with my air filter getting soaked with oil from the breather side

I have an oil catch can on my cammed 2000 Camaro SS LS1, I got rid of the !AIR, and !EGR emissions equipment and installed a breather cap on the valve cover and then routed the PCV to the catch can from the throttle body and then back into the intake I believe... It works for my 420 rwhp LS1, not sure how it would be needed for one of these trucks though.
