Gasket question
Is there a gasket between the transfer case and the tail shaft on a c6/205 married?

Yes there is a gasket, trans adapter to t-case.

I pulled apart one, it didn't have a gasket. That doesn't mean there isn't one. I can't think of a reason for there to be a gasket there, though...

actually now that I think about it, I think when I pulled the T case off the transmission ended up dumping its contents. Am I right? That was a long time ago. May have had rtv but definitely not a gasket.

Well help me out here, if the seal on the input shaft of my t-case leaks it will make it to my driveway without that gasket. trans output seal too. See my thought is Ford just wanted to keep my driveway clean, last two I pulled had gaskets but I guess you could leave it out but why? I'm not even sure about trans seal.
