2012 Excursion Caught on Camera

I was driving by a local truckstop when I caught a glimpse of this:

Had to turn around and go back to get a closer look. Turns out its not a real 2012 Excursion produced by Ford . However, it is a conversion of a 2012 F-350 made into a Excursion. Talked to the guy that does the conversions. Its a company out of Oklahoma that does custom conversions (website in pics below). For additional $32K (roughly), on top of the purchase price of the truck, you can be a owner of a brand new Excursion. The guy said it doesn't affect the factory warranty of the truck. Not sure how but for the price I would hope not. Typically takes 10 weeks start to finish for the conversion. Anyways, here's a couple more pics of the inside plus a pic of the towing rig (one of their other conversions). Enjoy!

Yeah, these guys pop up on here every so often. They do good work. They will pretty much do what ever you want. They also stretch trucks.

I couldn't tell is was originally a truck. Every seam looked factory, that's if I could find one. Truly impressive. Although I agree with others. Dang expensive when you add up the cost of the truck plus the conversion cost. Oh well, if you got the cash and want a new EX, why not? haha

sick look'n, yes. But it would be a heckofalot cheaper to go with an Ex, and slam a 2012 front end and dash in it. Unless you wanted the 6.7L, then my statement doesnt apply, but who'd want one of those.

How hard is it to install the 2012 dash into an older Excursion? Seems it would be a ton of work.

C'mon lotto tickets win big, that 6 door ex would be in my driveway. there is big money in these types of conversions, my friend wanted a duramax suburban, after seeing the prices for these he built one, with the price of the burb and wrecked donor truck i thought he was crazy when he could of bought an ex. after driving for two years he sold it to a guy who flew up from texas, he ended up making money on the deal to my suprise.

I saw somethin similar! But it was on a 2008 F350 converted into an Excursion, and only a 4 door. Their askin price was $60,000... I want one but not that bad lol. Id rather have a house!

I saw that 6 door one rolling through Anna Illinois a few months ago. I didn't realize who it was then. Cool!

Now ya know. They deliver the trucks if the owner doesn't want to pick it up in OK. This particular time they were on their way to Ohio

A local to me guy is doing something similar as well. He just finished putting together a 08 X.

Personally I wouldn't take anything over my 7.3 X
