high idle after driving

hi very odd thing started happening,89 f150 4 speed with the 5.0 302 ...started idiling at like 1500 the other day. itll start up and idle under 1000rpm... but once the motor gets warm it shoots up to 1500....any ideas. i got the pil leak from the oil pan, but i keep all my fluids full daily. only seems to be loosing oil and coolant

Check for codes.....Sounds more like a vacuum leak, but no sense chasing your tail until you see if the PCM thinks there is a problem.

Agreed on the vacuum leak, but a bad Idle Air Control Valve will also affect idle.
