The fuel pump driver module would usually cause either a no start condition or engine misfire. I doubt it would cause battery drain. I have seen sticking A/C compressor relays cause battery drain. Check the A/C clutch to see if it is engaged with the key off. If it's engaged pull the relay and the clutch should release. Constantly running with low fuel levels can cause fuel pump failure. The pump relies on fuel in tank to help cool the motor.
Thanks for the info! Turns out the short is from the rear wiper motor. Apparantly this is common with the Expys. Funny thing the motor quit working 6-9 months ago, but ths hort started causing battery drain now. Maybe because of the cold.
I have searched the entire underside near the spare tire with the spare tire removed and can't find the FPDM. Can someone please help. I know that it is part of my parts list because it pulls with my VIN # but I can't find it and my truck won't start. Any help would be appreciated.

We have checked the fuel pressure and there is very little. We didnt put a tester on the fuel pump but we can hear it come on when we turn tbe key if standing at the fuel tank door.
If you have low fuel pressure and are sure there is sufficient gas in the tank I would suspect a fuel pump problem. You want to make sure you have close to 12v at the pump and fuel pressure is 35-45psi KOEO and 62-69psi engine running. Pressure specs are for a 2008 and are probably the same for 2007. I think the only way you can buy the pump is as a module assembly and its very pricey.
Where is the shrader valve on the fuel rail on 05 Exp. I've looked every where and cannot find one. It has a sensor on the driver side towards the front of the fuel rail. So, does it have a shrader valve.

Its hard to help not knowing what year and engine you have. Does the "2002" in your userid represent the year of your vehicle? (Since this is the 2nd Gen Expy board I'm assuming were talking an Expy?)

I still believe the fuel pump control module is part of the fuel pump assembly now. And this may be why no one can seem to find it anywhere else on the vehicle.
