Some Useful Info!
Hey there,
Some information I would like to share with all "Ford" owners..
My truck was experiencing some trouble around 1 year ago.. we were having a hard time trying to figure it out....What we were experiencing - When we accelerated to around 70-80 Kilo's.. the truck would start to make a rumbling sound, and feel like we were driving over a bumpy road.. if we eased up on the accelerator it would stop.. and start over when we accelerated... so we took it to a transmission place and they said it would cost $1000 just to take off the tranny to see what the problem was! And you can only guess what we told them!!!!????? Basically we said "NOT!"
By this time we were fed up.. and I walked up to a mechanic at Ford and told him the symptoms and he told us to CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND FILTER!!! and guess what?? THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS!!!!!!! It was fixed!!!!
I am hoping that this little piece of information helps my fellow "Ford" owners!!
