THIS is the drag link we have, and I need, badly. Mines worn out on that end that's fixed.

I bought the parts that I could order.... Going to put together and see how much play is in the existing ball joint. It seems fairly tight, but my father says it will show wear after I start driving. I guess I'll see how it goes, and still may have to buy the $250.00 drag link anyway? I will hopefully be putting my front end back together this weekend. BTW, how did the attachment of the brackets go?

I know mines shot, you can hold the drag link out & shake the ball in the joint back and forth. I just put the truck up on stands yesterday to get ready to do some work, including the brackets. Hopefully they'll be on soon.

I was goofing around looking for something else and found this:

NAPA AUTO PARTS

Maybe cheaper, maybe not. I can't get the site to load my location to find a price.

Whew. I'm about where you are, thinking about ordering an adjuster sleeve, a tie rod end, and cutting the bad end off mine and threading it.

This one maybe? The part number does match and these things are usually interchangeable with previous years and it's $120.00

Here's the whole page, 42-47 drag link halfway down. Says it fits, $120!

Well dang it!! Links don't work, but you can go to Dennis Carpenter dot com and find the correct one listed for our models quick. I'll probably order one tomorrow.
