I bought the parts that I could order.... Going to put together and see how much play is in the existing ball joint. It seems fairly tight, but my father says it will show wear after I start driving. I guess I'll see how it goes, and still may have to buy the $250.00 drag link anyway? I will hopefully be putting my front end back together this weekend. BTW, how did the attachment of the brackets go?
I know mines shot, you can hold the drag link out & shake the ball in the joint back and forth. I just put the truck up on stands yesterday to get ready to do some work, including the brackets. Hopefully they'll be on soon.

Well dang it!! Links don't work, but you can go to Dennis Carpenter dot com and find the correct one listed for our models quick. I'll probably order one tomorrow.
