brakes on my E350 cube
did a brake job on my cube E350 ,pads and shoes (when i bought it a few weeks back)brakes pedal was going down slowly ,like air in the system,bled the four wheels and they are the same,changed master cylinder to no change,also changed booster and is still the same,pedal goes down slowly till about half way down ,the brakes all work fine ,it stops fine on the road,checked the air pump on the front of the engine,(engine is a diesel 7.3 auto/trans)and it is ok,first diesel i own and don't know if this is normal ,any input would be great ,thanks

Does your van have ABS?
Like rear ABS, if so you have to bleed the ABS solenoid, it may be located on the driver side frame rail.
Also I assume your bleeding them right?

yes my cube has ABS rear brakes and no i didn't bleed the ABS solenoid ,will try that tomorrow,didn't know you had to bleed soenoid,my cube is a 1993 E350 7.3 diesel automatique .thanks for the info and will let you know how it turn out. cheech

hey madman666 the new master cyl was the problem took it back and changed it on the warranty and put it on ,bled the lines again and problen solved,also bled the abs solenoid and the light is out so tanks for the input,took a little bit of time to get it done ,cause a lot of work ,took the time this weekend to do it and all is fine,didn't think a new piece would be faulty,so thank ,bye:-)

When I first read your symptom, I thought right away master cylinder, but I read it again and realized you changed it.
