What does everyone truely think of expy's that are street modified? Like large chrome wheels, rubber-band type tires, billet grills, dark windows, clear corners, performance everything, etc, etc.
Personally I think they're pretty cool looking.
I also like the 4x4 mods with the performance packages like lift kits and huge tires.
Just wondering...

I think it's possible to do some tasteful mods to an Expy. I don't care much for mods that eliminate the purpose of having 4WD (lowering it an inch off the ground, putting 26" wheels on it) but other than that, I say "knock yourself out".

I would like to put 20-24" wheels on mine in the spring and summer, but I would switch back to the 17's for fall and winter, (the salt on the roads here would kill the 20's anyway). I also like the lift kits, but can't find any for the 4 corner airbags, so that's kinda outta the question for me. As for performence, I think it works for both off road and street applications, so I'm all for that. Everyone needs power! I've been looking at superchargers for mine also, but I don't think the engine would hold up very long.
