I would like to lift my truck a little possibly 2-4 inches. I want to do it as cheapily as possible. I found a cheapo kit on ebay with a set of 2" coil spacers and a extra leaf spring for $150.00. It appears that the truck may have had an extra leaf put in before I bought it (I think mine (89 150 5.0 5 sp)had 6 and my friends 89 150 with a 4.9 both 4X4 had 5) any idea of how many my truck should have had originally? What size tires could I fit in there with 2 inches of lift and what amount of performance can I expect with my 302 5 speed and 3.55 gears. Do I have to change the pitman arm or any other components to do the lift? Can anyone recomend a cheap kit to acheive 4 incehs of lift I want to move up to 33 or 36 tires if possible without too many problems. Thanks in advance James
