Looks to me like he is feeding from the front and returning from the rear and that piece is the "Y" block.

Yes that piece is the fuel block. Fuel feeds to the block from the tank and out to the front of the heads. Returns from the back of the heads to the regulator then back to the tank selector valve. Fuel flow is reversed up top.

I liked the idea of feeding fuel from the front. Less heat on fuel entering the heads. Its a clean look too. There are two schools of thought as far as the direction of fuel flow. Made sense to me though. The regulator being positioned to the passenger side allowed me to keep the engine cover intact. This kit was not installed as intended. I flipped the fuel feed block upside down again to accommodate the engine cover. It was important to me to keep that OEM look.
