Well i got the vinyl in...needs some more work. It pokes up in some places. I cut a part too long where i needed to put it over my shifter..got to figure out how to mend it together. Messed up the shifter boot plastic piece. Aggervatin screw dont want to go in so i got some sheetmetal screw and had idea to drill out the plastic holes cause sheetmetal head was to big for original hole and make a new hole in floor..will post pics up soon
Pics will be great. I need a new 4x4 shifter boot, I leave my driverside wall vent open and that blows in cold air then i get hot air in from the tranny and motor, through the countless holes in the boot and it kind of messes with my legs... When the OP put this crap carpeting in he never screwed down the boot so i can turned it sideways and people can see the ground moving from the hole.
Yeah snazzy haha, i think it just needs time to settle into it's new curves. Is it too much slack or just from being folded up in the warehouse for so long?
if not, oh well, it's better than seeing the metal floor and feeling like your being cooked on a frying pan. LOL.
Very true. When i got my 82 mustang, the carpet was literally soaked in squirrel pee. So we stripped it out and put cleaner seats in and i drove that sucker for a few months without a carpet or floor mats. Then i bought Some fairly new carpeting from a gut with a GT version of my car and since it was pre-molded it fit perfectly. it felt so nice having fluffy carpet again i would sit int he back seat with my socks and shoes off just to feel it haha. Which makes me think, what happens if i get new carpet in the bronco
